Twistgrip Motorcycles are no stranger to the race track or paddock. Alan has a wealth of racing experience both as a rider, sponsor and in machine preparation.

He currently prepares all the bikes for the IMS racing team who compete in the CRMC club championship and the European Classic Endurance Series. He has also prepared many more engines for both classic and modern racing machinery. In the 2018 CRMC 600cc Production Series, Twistgrip prepared engines not only won the championship but took 3 of the top 4 places.
